Dr Rotimi Akerele

Dr Rotimi Akerele is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and brings with him a wealth of experience in all areas of general practice.
After completing his medical training at the University of Ilorin College of Health Sciences in 2008, he has accrued extensive clinical and managerial experience in Nigeria and Australia.
Dr Rotimi is passionate about supporting patients with mental health challenges and has completed the Focused Psychological Strategies Skills Training Program by the RACGP to effectively deliver evidence-based care in this area.
He has completed both the Professional and Advanced Certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and General Dermatology, and more notably, has earned a Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer from the University of Queensland. With a background in extensive surgical practice in Africa, Dr Rotimi has consistently achieved excellent outcomes in the diagnosis and surgical management of skin cancer and other minor procedures, including the excision of lumps/cysts and removal of ingrown toenails.
Dr Rotimi also has a special interest in Musculoskeletal Medicine and pain management, holding a Certificate in Musculoskeletal Medicine from the Australian Association of Musculoskeletal Medicine (AAMM). He manages chronic pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction using non-surgical, targeted treatment modalities aimed at addressing the root cause of symptoms while improving function and reducing pain. These include:

- Perineural injection therapy
- Trigger point injections
- Cortisone injection
- Manual therapies

Dr Bright Odubenu relocated to Australia with extensive work experience in Nigeria and Grenada. Prior to moving to Australia with his beautiful wife Nwanneka and three lovely children, Bright practiced as a General Practitioner in Nigeria and the Caribbean Island of Grenada. Bright obtained his medical degree from the University of Port Harcourt in Nigeria. He is also a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Iroghama Pascal Airhunmwunde (known as Dr Pascal) is a highly experienced, UK-qualified General Practitioner with over 17 years of clinical experience across diverse healthcare settings in the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
He graduated with his medical degree (MB BS) from the University of Benin, Nigeria, in 2008. He subsequently completed advanced postgraduate training in the United Kingdom, attaining Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), the internationally recognised gold standard qualification in family medicine and primary care. He also holds a Certificate in Minor Surgery from the Royal College of General Practitioners, including training in joint injections, equipping him with specialised procedural skills delivered safely and effectively.
Dr Pascal brings a strong international and multicultural perspective to his practice, having worked in a wide range of clinical environments including busy urban clinics, resource-limited settings, and culturally diverse communities. This breadth of experience has strengthened his ability to manage complex and multifaceted presentations, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and provide continuity of care for patients across all stages of life, from infancy through to older age.

During her medical education, Dr. Samaneh completed nearly two years of intensive internship, gaining hands-on experience across various medical specialties. This period of training exposed her to a diverse range of health conditions, allowing her to sharpen her diagnostic skills and enhance her clinical judgment.
Following her graduation, Dr. Samaneh worked as a General Practitioner in a busy, high-volume clinic, where she independently managed a wide array of acute and chronic medical cases. Dr Faisal Khan

Dr Faisal Khan is a dual-trained Consultant Physician and Geriatrician, holding Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine and General & Acute Medicine, and currently practising as a Staff Specialist Geriatrician at Canberra Health Services. He completed basic physician training across Tasmania and Queensland, followed by specialist training in Geriatric and General Medicine at The Canberra Hospital.
He also holds a Master of Public Health and Postgraduate Diploma in Cardiology, and has additional experience in palliative care, supporting holistic, patient-centred management focused on maintaining independence, function and quality of life in older adults.
Dr Khan has a special interest in geriatric preoperative and perioperative medicine, supported by a Master of Perioperative Medicine (Monash University), with expertise in optimisation of older adults undergoing surgery, frailty assessment, perioperative risk stratification and postoperative recovery planning.

The jovial Marjorie is an experienced practice nurse with special interest in chronic diseases care planning.
She has been a valuable team member of National Health Coop.
She has worked briefly at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital but has had extensive clinical work experience and training in Singapore and in Adelaide.
Marjorie obtained her Nursing degree from the Philippines.
